The United States celebrates ‘Your Animal Man’s Day’ on February 20 and for 24 hours, your social media pages will live with photos of hairy friends and their people who love them. According to experts, we usually turn to images with pets and Instagram accounts when we feel even the slightest blue, because these sweet images attract the response of a human “baby pattern”, or the impulse to take care of these blurry creatures. Anything that remotely looks like babies like big heads, high protruding foreheads, big, round eyes and smiling demeanor is welcome. Hiroshima University in Japan has studied and confirmed that such images enhance our performance and concentration levels while performing detailed tasks, concentrating our flirtatious attention on a single, happiness-inducing video or photo.
Refocus yourself and read through our list of the most pampered famous pets that are certainly well cared for … from Oprah Winfrey’s cute dogs to George Clooney’s head pig, just the best for our beloved friends.
The name Tinkerbelle will remind you of the tiny chihuahua that stayed comfortably tucked into Hilton’s handbag for 14 years, and she wasn’t a fashion accessory. But after the puppy passed away in 2015; Hilton regained love with a bunch of round big dogs for whom she created a tailored farm. The pockets live in a two-story mansion that has its own project furniture, heating and air conditioning and looks like her own home, described as elegant, comfortable, pink, girlish and beautiful. Her dogs also have balcony access and serene, garden views.
Clooney’s pig friend, Max, died in 2006, but was one of the most pampered of all the famous pets. The Vietnamese pot-roasted pig weighed 300 pounds and was Clooney’s gift to an elderly ex-girlfriend. He played an important role in the actor’s life and probably why he remained unmarried for a long time. According to Clooney’s father, the pig would completely block the front door by parking itself on the welcome mat, along, screaming and grunting away until he got his breakfast. Max slept in Clooney’s bed, scaring most girlfriends. Clooney himself confessed to being ridiculed by people for sleeping with a pig.
John Legend and Chrissy TeigenDogs
Penny, Pippa, Pooey, Puddy and Pepper are all bulldogs living in the Teigen-Legend apartment, and to say that they are treated like royalty is an understatement. Think manicures and themed costume sessions. In 2015, Pippa and Puddy “got married” and Legend hosted a wedding party of the two birds complete with a performance of their hit song “All of Me” as they walked down the aisle.
Hummingbirds by Spencer Pratt
When was the last time you visited Spencer Pratt’s Instagram page of the real star? If you go check it out, it almost entirely consists of self-paced videos with Spencer holding bird feeders with honey, frighteningly close to his own face, while his hummingbird friends feast. Although it may make us uncomfortable, the birds seem quite calm to be close to him.
Audrey Hepburn’s Dog
Hepburn was so in love and attached to her puppy, Mr. Famous, that he even appeared with her in the 1957 film Funny Face. He remained a constant presence at her side, and even began a Hollywood craze to own Yorkshire Terriers at the time. After he died, Hepburn reportedly was so desperate that Mel Ferrer got her another Yorkie puppy, baptized Assam by Assam.
Elvis the Pelvis had a few pets, but none dearer than his pet chimpanzee, Scatter. Spreader enjoyed lifting ladies ’skirts and generally causing chaos wherever he went with Presley. Ultimately, he proved to be a handful for the singer, especially when he took tours and thus returned to live on Elvis’ farm in Graceland, Tennessee, and there he resided until he passed away.
Cat of Karl Lagerfeld
The white launch ball cat by renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld, Choupette, is a fashionable feline who swells the pages of many fashion magazines, along with her dad. She even has 100,000 followers on her Instagram fan account. Lagerfeld, who passed away in February 2019, was so in love with his cat that he reportedly left all his wealth, about $ 195 million, in Choupette’s name.
Oprah Winfrey’s dogs
Oprah’s 5 dog companions, Lauren, Layla, Luke, Sunny and Sadie, are not really puppies but little fur people who open her heart wider. Jaw dropping $ 30 million in trust protects them if anything ever happens to the queen of talk shows.
